A total of three hat-tricks were scored so far in the current English Premier League 2010-11

We are on week two of the new English Premier League season and already we have seen three brilliant hat-tricks. A total of 61 goals have been scored so far and three 6-0 victories by three different clubs.

First Hat-trick of the 2010-11 EPL Season: Didier Drogba (Chelsea)

The 2009-10 golden boot winner, Didier Drogba continued his form from last season and scored a hat-trick on the opening day of the new 2010-11 English Premier League season against newly promoted West Bromwich Albion.

The Ivory Coast international scored in the 45th (injury time) , 55th and 68th minute to take his overall tally of 87 goals in the English Premier League and 134 overall goals for Chelsea.

Second Hat-trick of the 2010-11 EPL Season: Theo Walcott (Arsenal)

Theo Walcott was not included in the England World Cup squad by manager Fabio Capello and was definitely disappointed about it. The 21-year-old winger made only 23 appearances for the Gunners last season due to injury, but this season he is fit and was available for selection for Arsène Wenger and Arsenal.

The opening fixture against Liverpool ended in a 1-1 draw but when Arsenal met newly promoted Blackpool, they were some fireworks on display by the Gunner.

Theo Walcott scored in the 12th , 39th and 58th minute to complete his first ever hat-trick for Arsenal.

Third Hat-trick of the 2010-11 EPL Season: Andy Carroll (Newcastle United)

England under-21 International Andy Carroll scored a total of 17 goals in 39 appearances for Newcastle United in the 2009-10 Football League Championship and was the highest scorer for his club.

The 21-year-old striker failed to make an impact in Newcastle’s opening EPL fixture against Manchester United but against Aston Villa he made sure he gets off the mark in the Premier League.

Andy Carroll scored in the 34th, 67th and then completed his hat-trick in the 93rd minute during injury time. This was Carroll’s first hat-trick in the Premier League.

All three of the above matches ended 6-0
